Ace 55 is a 1950’s Heirloom Tomato that is the definition of dependable! It is a compact determinate variety which makes it an excellent choice for containers or growing on your patio. It produces substantial amounts of 10-12 ounce red fruit that are very resistant to cracking and disease. These are reliable, tasty, and a favorite for those who like low acid tomatoes!

Planting Instructions – Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date. Do not Plant out until 2 weeks after last frost. Tomato seeds require high soil temperatures for good germination rates. We highly recommend heat mats to ensure and speed up germination. Pot up to 3–4 inch pots when first true leaves develop (not cotyledon leaves). Harden off plants for 1-2 weeks in full sun before transplanting them outside (after last frost). Make sure to give tomato plants a lot of space for vigorous root and foliage growth.
