(Indeterminate/65-70 Days)
Dancing With Smurfs is a variety that was cultivated by Tom Wagner of Everett, Washington and first introduced commercially in 2012. This is one of the very best indigo varieties on the market, with tall indeterminate vines that produce tons of red cherry tomatoes with deep purple blushing, especially on the top! The fruit are sweet, juicy, and absolutely delicious. These are perfect for northwest growers and anyone else with a short growing season and have wonderful disease resistance! Planting Instructions – Start tomato seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date. Do not Plant out until 2 weeks after last frost. Tomato seeds require high soil temperatures for good germination rates. We highly recommend heat mats to ensure and speed up germination. Pot up to 3–4 inch pots when first true leaves develop (not cotyledon leaves). Harden off plants for 1-2 weeks in full sun before transplanting them outside (after last frost). Make sure to give tomato plants a lot of space for vigorous root and foliage growth.
