Cocozelle is a classic Italian heirloom that dates back at least to the 1830’s, but was introduced to the U.S. in the early 1890’s. This is a highly productive, delicious, bush variety that is dark green with slightly ribbed light-green stipes. These summer squash will get huge if you let them, but taste the best when under 10 inches. Zucchini are versatile and great cooked a variety of ways in various cuisines!
