The Chiltepin Wild Chile is a legendary hot pepper that is native to and grows wild in the Southern United States and Northern Mexico! Don’t be fooled by it’s size, these tiny peppers are super hot, ranging from 50,000-100,000 Scoville Heat Units, making it hotter than tabasco or cayenne peppers! Even though they aren’t early maturing they are prolific and easy to grow. They are great fresh, sun dried, or crushed into powder.
