Caribbean Yellow Habanero is a delicious and insanely hot pepper variety measuring up to 450,000 Scoville Heat Units! Though it is thought to have originated on the Yucatan Peninsula, it’s now extremely popular in the Caribbean, Africa, and here in the United States. Beneath the scorching heat these actually have a fantastic tropical flavor that can compliment various cuisines and is great for making sauces!
****Hot peppers can be tricky to germinate and grow at home even under ideal conditions. Germination usually takes 1-3 weeks, but can take as long as a month. Maintaining high soil temperatures is extremely important and we strongly recommend using a heating mat.
