Description
(Determinate/70-80 days)
Beefsteak Determinate is a fantastic version of the original beefsteak! It’s far more compact and it produces fruit at around the same time which can be harvested and processed way easier. The tomatoes are large, deep-red, and can easily get over a pound with good growing conditions. They are dense, meaty, and delicious making them perfect for slicing, processing, or taking to your local farmers market. This is a wonderful beefsteak variety!

Planting Instructions – Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date. Do not Plant out until 2 weeks after last frost. Tomato seeds require high soil temperatures for good germination rates. We highly recommend heat mats to ensure and speed up germination. Pot up to 3–4 inch pots when first true leaves develop (not cotyledon leaves). Harden off plants for 1-2 weeks in full sun before transplanting them outside (after last frost). Make sure to give tomato plants a lot of space for vigorous root and foliage growth.
