Country Gentleman is an heirloom corn variety that was first introduced in in the 1890’s by S.D. Woodruff & Sons of Orange, Connecticut. The stalks grow 7 feet tall and produce 7-10 inch long ears or unique, white corn with uneven kernels that old-timers used to call shoe-peg corn! Country Gentleman Corn is sweet, fantastic for roasting, and commonly grows two ears!
