The Ghost Pepper (aka Bhut Jolokia) is one of the hottest peppers in the world regularly measuring over 1,000,000 Scoville units! These are a late maturing pepper, but well worth the wait. It produces 2 1/2-3 inch long, thin, wrinkled, red peppers that have a complex flavor underneath the insane heat. We recommend using a heat mat and very warm temperatures/ soil temperatures when germinating for best results. Also, use extreme caution when handling or preparing or they will cause severe irritation. That being said, enjoy! This is one of the best hot peppers around!

****Hot peppers can be tricky to germinate and grow at home even under ideal conditions. Germination usually takes 1-3 weeks, but can take as long as a month. Maintaining high soil temperatures is extremely important and we strongly recommend using a heating mat.
