Buttercrunch Butterhead Lettuce is a popular 1950’s heirloom variety that was developed at Cornell University! It’s 4-5 inch rosette type heads are exceptionally sweet, crisp, tender and are slow to bolt because of their excellent heat tolerance. This is one of our personal favorite lettuce cultivars!
