Rio Grande Pepper is an heirloom hot pepper variety bred by New Mexico University for it’s reliability and productivity! These vigorous plants grow from 2-3 feet tall and produce tons of 2-4 inch long peppers that ripen from yellow, to orange, to red as they mature. Rio Grande peppers have a mild heat usually ranging from around 1,000-3,000 Scoville Heat Units making them versatile and perfect for people that like just a little kick!
